Welcome everyone to my blog. As September draws ever closer (where has the year gone?) it's time for us to say Goodbye to some of our favourite stamp sets and accessories. I hope you enjoy this blog as it's the last chance you'll have to purchase any of these items used. They are due to retire from the current Stampin Up list on 31st August. It's exciting times with all new things, but also sad because some of the retired products are my favourites.
If you are starting our blog hop here, or coming from the very talented KATHRYN RUDDICK'S site, it's lovely to have you visit my blog. I hope you enjoy your visit.
This time I have used the stamp set Always. It's been one of my most used stamps for a long time and I will really be sorry to see it retired. I've also used the Great Friend stamp set for my main butterfly.
Here's a close up of the flower and ribbon detail and the inside of the card.
I've used Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Pink Pirouette and Early Expresso cardstock; Crumb Cake, Early Expresso, Soft Suede and Versa Mark inks; the Always In Bloom small roller stamp; Early Expresso 5/8" satin, Pretty in Pink 3/8" taffeta and Chantilly Lace ribbons; Birds & Blooms Sizzletss 4-Pack Die set; and Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die; and to finish it off, Pearl Jewels and Champagne Shimmer Paint.
Another favourite stamp set is Friends 24-7.
Here's a closeup showing the use of the Priceless and Friends 24-7 stamps on the DSP and the inside of the card.
Here I've also used the Priceless stamp set; Very Vanilla, Early Expresso and Crumb Cake cardstock, Elegant Soiree DSP, Very Vanilla 3/8" taffeta and Early Express 5/8" satin ribbons; Champagne shimmer paint and Pearl jewels as extra bling.
For this card I've used Friends 24-7 stamp set again and Bella Toile; Whisper White, Glossy White, Basic Black and Melon Mambo cardstock; Basic Black and Melon Mambo inks; Basic Black 5/8" grosgrain ribbon; Square Rhinestone; White embossing powder; Scallop Border, Scallop Circle, 1 3/8", 1 1/4" and 1" Circle punches; Dazzling Diamonds and Markers to colour my flowers.
Here's what I did to the inside of the card.
I hope I've given you some last minute ideas, The items in bold are ones that are retiring in a few days. Remember, if you would like to purchase any of these stamp sets or accessories, they are only available while stocks last. Please don't hesitate to contact me either here or on 0438 022 124 if you have any questions or would like to place an order.

Di, these cards are GORGEOUS!! I love how you've stamped in the DSP on the Friends 24-7 card, but I absolutely LOVE everything about the Always card - such beautiful, shabby, vintage work. Great job.
