Aaaahhhhhh!....more Blendabilities!......

Hi, and welcome..... I just can't stop playing with these markers. I LOVE them. I am one proud owner of all sets available to us at a cost of $20.95 for 3 different shades. The colours are: Calypso Coral, Coastsl Cabana, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Smoky Slate and last but not least, Wisteria Wonder. You can also get a set of 6 Skintone markers for $39.95 and a Colour lifter pen if you need to correct for $8.95. All you need then is some Memento Ink and your designs will come up a treat. This one was made using whisper white, calypso coral and dsffodil delight cardstock with DSP Flowerpot.Sty.ish Stripes embossing folder and 2" circle, Pansy and Petite Petsls punches and candy dots and crystal effects complete a fun card.
For some reason I CANNOT get this photos to turn the right way up! I give up!!! For this one I used whisper white and coastal cabana cardstock and our new white satin ribbon, chevron emboss folder and some bling, and another easy effective card. See how the Blendabilities colours match our cardstock and accessories. It makes it so easy! I will be back soon with some more fun ideas using my Blendabilities. Colour, colour, colour....

Hello there. So glad you could drop by. Again I have some examples of cards I have made using our new Blendabilities. I just love these pens so much. They are just so easy to use. Simple cards..... This one using Rich Razzleberry and Basic Grey with whisper white. Stamp set is Bloom with Hope.
And this one using Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry and Skintones. Stamp set is Flower Shop. Again on whisper white csrdstock.
Hope these, along with the other ones I have posted, give you some ideas on how to use your very own Blendabilities. You Guessed It......Blendies again!.......

Hi there. Well, you must realise by now how much I love these Blendabilities and knew I couldn't stay away from them for long......haha Thanks for dropping by. Glad you could make it. Our Blendabilities will eventually come in 12 gorgeous colour sets rsnging from light to dark in the chosen colour plus a skin tone set and a colour lifter for those little 'oops' when you are colouring. Colours are Calypso Coral, Coastsl cabana, Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Night of Navy, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Smoky Slate and Wisteria Wonder. What a lovely choice! They are Alcohol ink markers made for blending and shading and are acid and lignin free. They need to be used with the Memento ink pad. Again here are a couple of cards I have made using Blendsbilities (again). For this one I've used the Pumpkin Pie set and stamp set Bloomin with Hope. Whisper white, pumpkin pie and Tangello twist are the cardstock colours.
Another one is where I've used Daffodil Delights and Old Olive. They are just SO versatile.......

Europe 2014

Hi there. This blog post isn't Stampin' Up this time but some photos of our daughter from Europe. She has been working there since April and has spent time working in arose and Lauterbrunnen in Switzerland. She goes onto Venice and Paris and May....? Be home around the end of October. Here's some of the experiences she has had during her VERY limited spare time. (She's made the most of it when it was available!)





You are only young once, but me..........NEVER! I could never, ever do this cliff climbing like she has. She skydived, jumped off a bridge into any icy river, this and now she says she hopes to get in a day where to go and climb across crevasses etc in the snow! NO WAY!!!! Never thought she would do any of these things, but loves it! What an experience she's had. Wonder if she will ever come home and settle down again?.... Next post will be Stampin' Up, I promise...... CASE-ing the Catty......Birthdays

Hi. My entry to this weeks challenge is cased from page 52 of our current Annual catalogue.
Cardstock used is Daffodil Delight, Bermuda bay and Whisper White with a little bit of Pumpkin pie. Stamp Sets are Sketched Birthday and Teeny Tiny Sentiments with the number 2 from Metro Type Alphabet (one of our Photopolymer sets). Ribbon is Pumpkin pie in the new 1/4" Cotton ribbon and embossing folder is Chevron. Of course, I've used my very new favourites.....Blendabilities...to colour the cake, I just LOVE them! Stampin' Up Project Life!

Wow! We are all so excited to be part of Stsmpin' Up and our new Project Life venture. Hi there and welcome to my blog. Project Life is a brand new concept by Stampin' Up this year. We have teamed with the wonderful Becky Higgins to bring you a fantastic choice of super simple, totally affordable ways to get your photos into pages. It's just great. I have SOOOO many photos all over the place and never the time to put them into albums, but this way is just so easy.......took a whole 15 minutes to complete. Well, ok, it's not quite finished, but for my first PL attempt I was pretty impressed at how easy and quick it was to do.... Project Life ideas can be found scattered throughout our catalogue, but you can find the introduction on page 24. Everything is there on offer for you to create as simple or involved as you like. Personally, I loved the simplicity and ease of it all. Here is my first ever PL page. I hunted around and found some very old photos of my daughter and her first long term pony. Little girls and their ponies have a one of a kind relationship. Mindy was that special pony too. She was gentle and kind, but had the get up and go which was what Laura had so much fun doing. We had her for about 4-5 years until Laura was just too big for her. VERY sad day when she went back to her original owner. (But she went onto another young owner and continued her happy lifestyle). The girls used to ride from the paddock to our place and ring my front door bell. There on the porch step was Mindy looking for a treat. They used to have picnics in the back yard and Mindy even chased me up the side path to get the biscuit container! They did Pony Club together and through that jumping and Dressage and the best of all...Games Days. This is where we would, meet with other pony clubs and the kids and horses had all different obstacle races etc lasting a day. Mindy was a well known expert for her games skills and they came home with many ribbons. Not sure who had the most fun.....Mindy or Laura. Laura had to come home from pony club sick one day and this was before we had mobile phones. We got a call eventually to say she had ridden home and when we raced to get her all we could see was Mindy literally bringing her home down the road. She had done this all the way from pony club! It turned out laura had appendicitis!! She was the BEST little girl's pony in the world. Laura went onto bigger and better things with horses over many years but there will always be a special place in our hearts for our little Mindy girl. Here's a few pictures I used from long ago......(Laura is now 28!). You can see how simple it was to make by just slipping the photos into place and adding some journaling.

Cute......

This stamp is just toooo cute don't you agree. It's called kind koala and can be found in page 113 of our new annual catalogue. It's a wood stamp and is priced at only $16.95. Great value. Don't you just love him? Hi there and thank again for stopping to have a look at my blog. Isn't this set just adorable. Just love it. Again I've stamped using the memento ink on whisper white up this time I've coloured using our regular marks pens. Not as easy as Blendabilities, but it's worked ok. These markers work better on our watercolour paper. Colours I've used are Hello Honey, Rich Razzleberry and DSP from the Moonlight DS paper stack. Just very cute. All I've done is use some Crystal Effects on his nose.

Flower Patch

Cute name for a really cute stamp set......hi, and thanks for dropping by. I've tried to make an example of most of the new stamp sets I have so far (and I mean so far....) from our new annual catalogue. If you would like your own copy and don't yet have one, please let me know and I'll get one to you ASAP. Yet another set I love. First example is made using whisper white, Pear Pizzazz and Crisp Cantelope csrdstock. DSP is from the All Bloom designer series paper stack. These are a great idea. They can be found on page 185 of the catalogue, have many different designs and are a great size for card fronts...or anything else you like. They are priced at $11.95 for 48 sheets and come in 2 designs....Moonlight as well as the All Bloom. Great value! Blushing Bride, Crisp Cantelope and Pear Pizzazz ink is used. I've also used the matching Flower Flair framelits. Makes cutting out so easy. The Flower patch stamp set is another of our new sets but this time it comes in PHOTOPOLYMER. It's a perfectly clear stamp, adheres well to the clear stamp block and you can see EXACTLY where you are placing your stamp. You can purchase both stamp and framelits in a bundle at a special price of $74.75 a saving of 15%. They can be found on page 156 of the catalogue. Here it is......
This second card was all stamped on whisper white cardstock and here I've 2step stamped it so you can see just how effective this technique and this stamp set can be. Again cut out with the matching framelits. Matting is on Lost Lagoon and Crumb Cake. Some bling and bakers twine compete the picture.

Work of Art

Hi again. I decided to change what I've been showing you this time and bring you some examples of the fantastically versatile Work of Art stamp set. It's in our new catalogue and available for $51.95 in wood or $37.95 in clear. It's on page 165. If you haven't got your own catalogue, let me know and I'll get one to you ASAP. I love, love, love this stamp set. It makes crafting just so easy. Here's some examples.......
This one I have cased form Sandi McIvor. I just LOVE it and thank you for,sharing Sandi. Hope you like it as much as I do. So effective, and so, so easy. Whisper white, Lost Lagoon and Blackberry Bliss are the colours used. Don't you love the new In Colours? I've also added the swirl for. everything Eleanor (again using Memento ink) and a punched butterfly and tiny flowers and bling, and it's done! So simple. All I have done is stamp off the images done in Blackberry Bliss and you have totally different shades of the one colour. Great idea. Next is done using Hello Honey and Tangello Twist ink. Another very, very simple but effective way to use the Work of Art stamp set. I've also used the World of Dreams stamp set.
Last, but not least is this one. All I've done is used lost lagoon ink on whisper white cardstock and added some of the beautiful new in colour stitched satin ribbon and Big News stamp set. I just stamped off the ink on the stamp and once again you have different shading of the one colour. Brilliant Stampin' Up!
